Making a surprisingly good start learning Objective-C from the book by Stephan Kochan. Brain doesn't hurt that much at all

just set up a Hazel rule to open a .mov file to split the audio channels into 2 separate files. Next rule will convert to AIFF for me.

Doing some messing with Hazel to do some jobs for me automatically on my iMac. Hazel is well worth getting. I am impressed for sure.

Notational Velocity on my Mac works great with Simple note on the iPhone. Use as well as EverNote another great note taking app

Apple iPad Worldwide availability

The iPad availability Europe situation is not good as it stands at the middle of April. There was recently an announcement from Apple to say that they were not going to supply iPads to Europe for another month. The release date for the iPad for the UK, Germany, France Spain and some other European countries will not be until the end of May, with a pre-order date of 10th of May.

Apple should at the very least had plans to be able to ramp up production faster if needed and as the problem stands now they should have made sure that European iPad developers could get an iPad because they need the physical device to get the apps ready and working right.

Of course it is not just in Europe the iPad is not getting out the rest of the world either. Apple are bound to look after the most vocal customer base first and there local customers as in U.S. citizens. So much for there being a World Wide market now, when Apple looks after one section of its customers before the rest.

Great - I made an epub type ebook with Sigil & got an image into it. The whole thing works OK on the iPhone too in Stanza

Trying out some epub publishing tools. Calibre & now downloading Sigil I will also try out InDesign to see how it works out.

Finally Nambu have re released thier twitter client. It is only a Beta but hopefully improved from its first incarnation

It is iPad day - Well in the U.S. it is anyway. They can't make them fast enough in China there will be long queues at Apple Stores today

I remember back to my youth & the whole town Coleshill, near B´ham would be like a ghost town on Good Friday.

At least I have my iPhone here with me but I have no wifi connection here at work. I think I may have to buy a MiFi & a data plan.

IE Exploder was messing me about so I had to put on Firefox to get things working. I´ll be glad to get home to my Macs.

Stared using Simple Note on the iPhone with Notational Velocity on the Mac. NV is a think different way of working with text notes.
